This item is pre-owned and vintage, and a fabulous collectible piece. This style with single chain strap and curved front panel, also known as the "Diana bag," was recently resurrected by Chanel due to its popularity, but not again in this quality and craftsmanship. This style is especially rare and hard to find in Lambskin leather.

In caviar pebbled leather, the bag is a unicorn due to the extreme limited production. This bag was usually produced in lambskin, and even then, it's hard to find something in great condition since it was produced so long ago.

The long single woven shoulder chain can be worn long cross body (as it is a single chain) or doubled up as a short clutch, and the versatility makes it convenient for either work or play. One main compartment with side zipper pocket. Instead of a double flap and double strap, there is one long strap, allowing for the chain to connect directly with the main base of the bag instead of the top flap, allowing for better durability and structure. In the medium size, which is harder to find, the classic Diana flap is 10 inches wide and carries more than the medium classic flap due to the roomier interior.

This item is in pristine, like-new condition with virtually no signs of wear. It looks like it was carried less than a handful of times, if at all. Corners are clean with no rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is clean and shiny. . The beautiful leather is petal-soft, never refurbished, and representative of a time period when Chanel's quality was at its height.
